Senior Editor/ESL department

BookLinks is searching for a senior/developmental editor in our ESL department. The successful candidate should have 5+ years experience in educational publishing with a strong background in ESL pedagogy. Senior-level editors must be able to collaborate on product development and exercise considerable oversight over a project, and therefore should have experience in instructional design and developmentally sound teaching strategies. Senior editors at BookLinks work closely with managing editors, writers, project editors, and page designers to oversee successful completion of textbook projects. Ideally, a senior editor has freelance and industry contacts that can help generate and execute work. Excellent computer skills (Mac environment OSX) are a must.
