Elizabeth Villela
President
As founder and president of BookLinks, Liz has handled client relationships and overseen content development, strategizing, and troubleshooting for over fifteen years. She is also the founder and president of Editaliz SC, a translation and editorial development house in Mexico that has serviced US and Mexican companies for seventeen years.

Before BookLinks and Editaliz, Liz worked as Senior Editor and Managing Editor for several editorial vendors and educational publishers where she coordinated, developed and managed adaptations of large basal and supplementary programs in Science, Math, Reading, and Social Studies. Liz began her publishing career as an editor of Bilingual and ESL programs at Scholastic. She has a degree in Electronic Engineering and speaks five languages.

Humberto Schettino
Vice President
Humberto has over fifteen years of experience as business manager in Mexico and the US. He became one of the principals at BookLinks in 2008. In addition to his administrative role at BookLinks, Humberto oversees content development for our Humanities projects. He holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a Ph. D. in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research in New York City.

Humberto has also been a professor of Philosophy and Political Science at Universities in Mexico and the US. He is fluent in three languages.

Marty Fluger
Director of Project Management
Marty has over twenty-five years of management experience in the educational publishing industry. Before joining the BookLinks team, Marty established and ran the traffic department for Scholastic's Instructional Publishing Group and managed projects at leading industry design and editorial development houses. He has been responsible for the timely, on-budget delivery of diverse, high-quality products for basal, ancillary, and supplementary programs in all major content areas. Marty oversees the management of all BookLinks projects; collaborating with department supervisors on project analysis and planning; establishing and monitoring the communication between project teams and clients; supervising the creation of scheduling and tracking systems.

Jada Gorrell
Senior Project Management
Jada has extensive experience in business and project management. She manages multiple projects at BookLinks, maintaining communication between the editorial, production, and design teams and coordinating the work of writers, editors, and translators. Before joining BookLinks, Jada was a Marketing Manager and Senior Project Manager. She directed projects that included photo shoots, web design, product development, vendor negotiation, budget reviews, international distribution, and design development. Jada has a Bachelor's Degree in Film and has extensive film production experience.

Sandy Kotrotsios
Client Account Management and Business Development
Sandy has been with Booklinks for over 10 years. In addition to consulting on educational accounts, Sandy handles our advertising, marketing, travel, food, hospitality, and real estate accounts. Sandy has extensive experience in sales, marketing, education, and language acquisition. She is fluent in three languages.
